K. 112, BS. i. 641; and in local names, Rosmhvala-nes, in Icel., whence Rosm-hvelingar, m. pl. the men from R., Sturl. i. 224: rosm-hvalr and rostungr are synonymous, so that in the Jb. some MSS. have the one word, some the otheR.
