að, to reel, stagger (now skjögra), Fas. ii. 550 (in a verse).

Orthography: The Cleasby & Vigfusson book used letter ö to represent the original Old Norse vowel ǫ. Therefore, gjögra may be more accurately written as gjǫgra.
