adj. clodded, lumpy; ökkvinn hleifr, Rm. 4 (opp. to hleifa þunna, 28): hleifr þykkr ok ökvinn, þrunginn sáðum, Völsa-þ. ökvinn-kálfa, u, f. with the lumpy calves of the bondwoman, Rm.

Orthography: The Cleasby & Vigfusson book used letter ö to represent the original Old Norse vowel ǫ. Therefore, ökvinn may be more accurately written as ǫkvinn.
