Meaning of Old Norse word "ölúð" (or ǫlúð)

ölúð (ǫlúð)

f. ‘the whole mind,’ sincerity, devotion; see alúð, p. 18.

Orthography: The Cleasby & Vigfusson book used letter ö to represent the original Old Norse vowel ǫ. Therefore, ölúð may be more accurately written as ǫlúð.
