part. ‘self-said,’ as a matter of course; sé hann s. ok útsettr af heilagrar kirkju inngöngu, B. K. 108: in mod., hann er s., he is (to come) as a matter of course, self-appointed, or the like: neut., sjálfsagt, of course! no doubt! Germ. freilich.
