þing-lag
n. the public standard of value, as fixed or proclaimed at a ‘þing;’ kyr ok ær at þinglagi því sem þar er í því héraði, K. Þ. K. 172 (cp. fjár-lag, verð-lag); þinglags-eyrir, Grág. (Kb.) ii. 246; þinglags-hestr, a horse of average value, D. I. i. 203.
