Jóla, Yule Eve, Christmas Eve, Grett. 97, 140, Fms. ii. 37, Ísl. ii. 232, Orkn. 186 old Ed., where the new Ed. p. 242 reads atfangs- (in sing.), which is very rare, Þórð. 11. atfangadags-kveld, n. Christmas Eve, Bárð. 176. atfanga-maðr, m. = atdráttamaðr, Grett. 119 A.
