n. ‘Christ-fee,’ old Icel. eccl. name of property given for the support of the poor,—‘Christfé apud nos communiter dicitur quod pauperibus legatum est,’ H. E. iii. 98; gaf Sira Þórarinn fátækum frændum sínum mikit góz, ok setti mörg Kristfé í mörgum jörðum um Svarfaðardal, ok svá annars-staðar, Bs. i. 790, H. E. i. 430, Vm. 163.
