n. [nautr], fellowship, mateship, a company; neyti eru nítján menn, nineteen make a company, Edda 208; bera vætti með neyti þat (with other fellow-witnesses) er ek fæ þér til, Grág. ii. 54; leysa þann kvið af hendi þegar er þeir hafa neyti at, i. 54: esp. in compds, mötu-neyti, föru-n., ráðu-n., lögu-n. (q. v.), etc.
