f., gen. vikrar, pumice-stone, from a volcano; vikr svá mikil, Bs. i. 803; vikrin sást reka hrönnum fyrir Vestfjörðum at varla máttu skip ganga fyrir, Ann. 1362; vikra(r) kast, a fall of pumice, 1390; stála vikr, ‘steel-pumice,’ a whet-stone, Haustl.
