(Kb.) ii. 97; eigi skal hann annarra lönd meiða í veitunni, … of veitu-garða, trench-ditches, Grág. ii. 281; eigi á maðr at göra veitur í landi sínu svá at hann spilli landi eða engi manns þess er fyrir neðan býr, 282.
