(in a verse), FmS. vii. 192, freq. in mod. usage: tundr-ör, f. a tinder-arrow, a burning shaft hurled in taking possession of land; for this heathen rite see Landn. 3, ch. 8, p. 193; cp. also FmS. vii. 192, where the tinder-arrow has magic power, like silver-buttons in mod. taleS.
