(in a verse): of things, ítr rönd, a fine shield, Edda (Ht.); ítran sal fjalla, of the sky, Edda (in a verse); til ítrar elli, to a glorious, golden age, Edda (Ht.); ítr lausn, glorious redemption, Líkn. 39.
