mans-fólk
captive-folk, prisoners; in Orkn. 368 (Fb. ii. 486, l. 8), þeir seldu þeim silfr ok ‘annat fé’ is corrupted for ‘mans-fólk,’ as is seen from the words of the Danish translation of 1615—‘ok solde dennem fangerne.’
