m. [Ivar Aasen vagl; Swed. vagel = a roost]:—a beam, esp. an upper cross-beam, roost; hann hljóp í þvertré á húsinu ok síðan á vaglinn ok af vaglinum ok út í glugginn, Fms. x. 290.
