viðr-hending
f., a metric. term, the ‘sub-rhyme’ ‘after-rhyme’ the latter rhyme-syllable in a verse-line is so called, Edda (Ht.); thus, in fastorðr skyli fyrða, ‘orðr’ is the fore-rhyme, ‘fyrða’ the after-rhyme.
