að, to turn in inverse order; öfga vápni at manni. to turn the butt-end of a weapon to a man, N. G. L. i; allir stafir þessa nafns (i. e. ave from Eva = Eve) eru öfgaðir … ‘Eva’ öfgast ok ‘ave’ er sagt, Mar. (of an anagram).
