L. i. 342, 343, v. l.), in the phrase, bæta sem d. er til, of the breach of a Sunday or a holy day, to pay according to ‘the day’s might,’ i. e. according to the time of the day at which the breach is committed, N. G. L. i. 342, 343, 348, 349; or does it mean ‘the canonical importance’ of the day (Fr.) ?
