2. u, f. (skúti, a, m., Fms. l. c.), a taunt; eigi ætla ek þér nú allgóðan þykkja beinann fyrir skútu þessa, Glúm. 354; drepa e-m skúta, to taunt one with; áferli þat sem konungr drap oss skúta um, Fms. iv. 310 (in Ó. H. 140, l. c., the passage is omitted). skút-yrði, n. pl. taunts, reproaches.
