1. t, to crease, pleat; in the phrase, strauk of ripti, sterti ermar, she smoothed the kirtle and pleated the sleeves, Rm.; cp. þá höfðu menn ermar fimm álna langar ok svá þröngvar, at draga skyldi at við handtygil, ok lerka allar at öxl, Fms. vi. 440.
